The Scott Theatre is a state of the art proscenium arch theatre positioned on the grounds of the University of Adelaide.
The theatre is part of the Elder Conservatorium School of Music and is used by the Jazz Studies department Mon-Fri 9am-6pm during semester time, but is available for public hire after hours, weekends and vacation periods.
The theatre has a capacity of 635 seats and is suitable for both professional,amatuer and educational groups. The theatre can be set as a theatrical,dance, music or conference venue hosting international companies from the Adelaide Festival of the Arts to sporting events such as the Australian Aerobic Championships.
