Centre for Tectonics, Resources and Exploration (TRaX)

TRaX consolidates the geosciences at The University of Adelaide.

Expertise in mineral, energy and resources are brought together by scientists from the areas of Geology and Geophysics, Geographical and Environmental Studies, the Australian School of Petroleum, and the South Australian Museum to concentrate on innovative, cross-disciplinary research to address three main themes: Lithospheric Evolution, Geofluids, and Landscape Evolution.

TRaX is committed to the translation of research to practical application in the minerals and energy industries and supports the building of multidisciplinary teams that cross traditional university boundaries and tackle major issues in mineral and energy resources.

Expertise is brought together from the fields of geology, geophysics, School of Petroleum, SA Museum, Geography, and Environmental studies.
