Honours Research Projects
Prepare yourself for an exciting career with an Honours degree. Whether you are interested in research or just want to have an edge in the job market, you can boost your qualifications with an Honours degree from the School of Animal and Veterinary Sciences.
The major aim of Honours is to develop your skills as a researcher through the completion of a 1-year research project. Each project has different components that call upon a varied set of skills and will test your abilities to evaluate and respond to different outcomes. Although it will be your Honours project, your supervisor will be there to assist you with the planning and running of the project.
It’s not that hard to gain admission. Applicants need to have earned a minimum of two credits in level III undergraduate courses relevant to their Honours project. Students from all areas of the University are able to apply for an Honours degree in the School of Animal and Veterinary Sciences.
