Honours Course Summary

This course is available under the provisions of the Academic Program Rules.

To be eligible for admission into Honours, you must have completed the requirements for a degree or equivalent to a standard that is acceptable to the Faculty for the purpose of admission to the Honours degree.

During your Honours year, you will be required to undertake the following:

• Professional Development Workshops
  • Run at various times throughout the year
  • Include topics such as Communication Skills, Working with Large Documents, Research Planning.

• Research Project - 90% of Final Mark
  • Literature Analysis and Research Proposal - 15%
  • Supervisors Mark - 5%
  • Final Seminar - 10%
  • Thesis - 70%

• The Course Component - 10% of Final Mark
  • A Level III course (3 units value), to be agreed upon by the student, supervisor and the Honours Coordinator.
