Honours Course Summary
This course is available under the provisions of the Academic Program Rules.
To be eligible for admission into Honours, you must have completed the requirements for a degree or equivalent to a standard that is acceptable to the Faculty for the purpose of admission to the Honours degree.
During your Honours year, you will be required to undertake the following:
- Professional Development Workshops
- Run at various times throughout the year
- Include topics such as Communication Skills, Working with Large Documents, Research Planning.
- Research Project - 90% of Final Mark
- Literature Analysis and Research Proposal - 15%
- Supervisors Mark - 5%
- Final Seminar - 10%
- Thesis - 70%
- The Course Component - 10% of Final Mark
- A Level III course (3 units value), to be agreed upon by the student, supervisor and the Honours Coordinator.
