HDR Student Induction Programs
All commencing HDR students within the School of Animal & Veterinary Sciences must complete the following Induction programs as soon as possible following the commencement of their candidature:
- Adelaide Graduate Centre Postgraduate Research Induction
- Induction Programs are organised by the Adelaide Graduate Centre for commencing PhD and Masters by Research students in February, March and July of each year.
- School of Animal & Veterinary Sciences HSW Induction
- This program incorporates the University Health, Safety & Well-Being Corporate Induction as well as the School's Local Area Inductions.
- These must be completed prior to commencing any field or laboratory work.
- Additional information is provided on zoonotic diseases (including Q Fever) and vaccination guidelines.

- This program will be run in late January/early February and late July each year. Students that commence their research programs outside of these times will need to contact the School's HSW Officer .
