Logo: ReproductionSpot colour reproduction using Black, Pantone Blue 294, Pantone Red 485 and Pantone Gold 873 is the preferred method for most graphic applications. When spot colour printing is not possible, four colour (CMYK) reproduction is acceptable. However, Pantone Gold 873 can only be printed as a spot colour, therefore when printing in CMYK, 'mock-gold' may be used. Master digital artwork is available for either the spot colour or CMYK versions of the logotype. Full-colour Version
Monochrome VersionWhen full colour reproduction is not possible, monochrome printing of the logotype in solid black is acceptable. The monochrome version of the logotype must be sourced from master digital artwork. Instances may also arise where material is printed in one or two colours where black is not included. In this case it is acceptable to reproduce the logotype in one of the colours being used.
Reverse VersionThe logotype may also be reproduced reversed white out of solid black or a background colour of sufficient contrast. It is unacceptable to reverse the monochrome version of the logotype.
To maintain the design integrity of the visual identity system and maximize the logotype's effectiveness as an identifier, it is mandatory that the University logotype is used as indicated in the guidelines without modification. The logotype is not to be altered in any way. Minimum reproduction size for the logotype is 7mm across width of the shield symbol, not including name typography. |
