Design and Publications

The Marketing & Strategic Communications Branch has established a publication style for corporate publications.

This style shapes the covers of publications in particular, establishing a relationship between the various graphic and text elements of the cover (logo, Life Impact tag, photographs, titles and colour). The style should be used as a model to ensure consistency of visual identity across the whole range of University publications.

It is a core requirement that publications covers and material such as banners and posters reflect the "people" focus of the University's brand story.

Some examples of cover styles are shown above. Areas wishing to produce publications and intending to use external designers must ensure that these designers adhere to the standards outlined in this document. The Marketing & Strategic Communications Branch can also manage the process of publication (design, printing and the sourcing of quotations for both) for areas.

Further advice about standards may be obtained from the Marketing & Strategic Communications Branch. Contact the Manager, Media & Publications for further information.
