Welcome to all
Volunteers
at the University of Adelaide
Volunteering provides an integral link between the university and the wider
community. It also adds to the richness of university life by involving a diverse
range of people in a variety of activities.
Volunteers are passionate and committed about the work they do, though they
rarely receive public recognition for the time they give to the university. Through
this web site we pay tribute to the wonderful group of people who give their time
freely for the benefit of the institution. This builds on the Volunteers Committee
established in 2003, which formalised the volunteering activities at the University
and involves staff members from a diverse range of disciplines in coordinating
and supporting our volunteers.
I invite you to browse through the following pages whether you want to "Get
Involved" or just want to know about another side of university life.
There are links to resources regarding who to contact and volunteering
opportunities.
