The University seeks to ensure that the rights of volunteers are maintained, that volunteers are well supported and encouraged in their service to the University.

Volunteer management at the University aims to comply with the 'National Standards for involving volunteers in the Not for Profit Organisations' produced by Volunteering Australia.
