Enrolment
Wilto Yerlo students enrolling at the University of Adelaide for the first time are guided through their enrolment by a Student Support Officer or Foundation Program Coordinator. However, the monitoring of HECS fees, enrolment amendments and academic transcripts are the responsibility of each student. Student Support Officers and the University Contact Centre advisers will assist if problems occur in the administration of these fees and records.
In the second year of study and years thereafter the process of re-enrolment begins with students receiving a letter with instructions on where, how, and when to enrol.
Amendment
You must amend your enrolment to change from one program to another or withdraw from a program altogether. You can also amend your enrolment to defer or postpone your studies.
When withdrawing from a program or amending your enrolment be mindful of your Abstudy requirements. You must maintain a 75% load to be eligible for full time Abstudy payments. Abstudy can audit a student's enrolment at any time of the year; if you reduce your load to part-time and continue to be paid at a full-time rate without informing Abstudy, you will face penalties including repayment of your living allowance.
Enrolment amendment cut off dates
There are a number of dates by which you have to finalise aspects of your enrolments such as The Last Day for Withdrawing Without Incurring a HECS Liability.
Check the Timetable and General Information handbook available at the University Contact Centre or the University website to check these critical dates.
Enrolment Difficulties
If you have any enrolment difficulties, contact either the University Contact Centre or a Program Coordinator at Wilto Yerlo.
For enrolment details, see the the University of Adelaide calendar.
Wilto Yerlo Orientation
