About Wine2030

Vision

To connect and promote the University of Adelaide network of wine-related research; to promote awareness and cooperation across researchers and the wine industry.

Mission

To connect all disciplines across the University of Adelaide undertaking research for the benefit of the wine industry and to foster awareness of the opportunities to undertake such research; to promote communication of, and participation in, research activity between the University of Adelaide, external research partners and industry; to effectively communicate and share information resulting from this research; and to attract people into the network with relevant interests and capabilities.

How does Wine2030 ‘fit' in the national context?

Wine2030 represents the University of Adelaide's contribution to wine-related research. Through Wine2030, the University of Adelaide is committed to engaging with, and contributing to, the Wine Innovation Cluster (WIC).

WIC brings together the following leading research agencies that address the needs of the grape and wine sector, in order to achieve greater results than would be possible working as standalone agencies. These agencies are:
• The University of Adelaide (Wine2030)
The Australian Wine Research Institute (AWRI)
CSIRO Plant Industry
South Australian Research & Development Institute (SARDI)
