Since 1975 Dr Peter Dry has taught viticulture at both Roseworthy Agricultural College and University of Adelaide, and conducted research on many aspects of viticulture and plant physiology.

Winner of SA Great Award in 2003 for Science and Technology (jointly with B Loveys and M McCarthy for the development of partial rootzone drying)
