Adelaide City Council is the local government area in metropolitan Adelaide and the oldest municipal authority in Australia. The Australian Workplace Innovation and Social Research Centre (WISeR) has worked closely with the Adelaide City Council on research in areas such as Labour Market Analysis, Social Inclusion and Social Change, Young People, and Education and Training.
