Summary

The City of NPSP sought to develop a structure that provides broad directions and reflects a set of shared principles to guide specific action by its individual departments. It commissioned the WISeR to develop a Social Development Framework that would enable a proactive and coordinated response to community need and broader social issues. As part of the project methodology, three discussion papers were prepared by the WISeR:

  1. Signals of the Future: an Issues Paper to inform the NPSP Social Development Framework, Australian Centre for Workplace Innovation and Social Research for the City of NPSP
  2. Population Health Profile of Norwood Payneham St Peters. Public Health Information Development Unit, Australian Centre for Workplace Innovation and Social Research for the City of NPSP
  3. Key Directions in Social Policy: A Discussion Paper to inform the NPSP Social Development Framework

The final Framework was approved by Council in early 2007.
