About the WPDN

WPDN is a development initiative for women professional staff at the University of Adelaide.

Our purpose is to develop, promote and evaluate initiatives that foster an environment in which women professional staff can identify and achieve their potential.

The network is managed through a volunteer Steering Group that develops the annual program, creates connections with other groups that can assist in your personal and professional development and develops strategies that promote women's development.

WPDN is a vibrant and evolving network

We value our long (and strong!) history in the University - and we continue develop to meet the changing needs of women. We maintain a long association with the Gender Equity and Diversity Committee (GED) and our activities form part of the University's broader response to the requirements of the Equal Opportunity for Women in the Workplace Act.

ALTHOUGH our focus is on the professional and personal development needs of women employed by the University of Adelaide, many of our events have broad appeal and ANYONE interested can attend.
