That's where WPDN's networking session can help!

Don't forget to bring your business cards to exchange

This networking session will be presented by you!

However, networking devotees Jen Clark

Networking is difficult because it takes us out of our comfort zones – so we end up talking to someone we already know and trying to avoid making new connections! In this session you will learn and practice simple techniques for confidently interacting with people in networking situations.

Topics will include:

  • The principles for effective networking
  • How to think strategically and create a networking plan
  • Asking good questions to build relationships
  • What to say when they ask, “What do you do?”
  • Keeping the conversation going
  • Dealing with tricky networking situations

By the end of this workshop you will be able to:

  • start and continue a networking conversation
  • be more confident in speaking with people
  • build stronger relationships
  • get more from each networking event
