ANZCCART Awards

Honorary Life Membership

Honorary Life Membership of ANZCCART is regarded as the ultimate recognition of outstanding service to ANZCCART over a number of years.

The process for nomination of candidates for this award is open to all.  Nominations will be considered by the Board of ANZCCART based on the nominee's services to ANZCCART and the wider animal welfare community in line with the stated goals of ANZCCART. Recommendations from the Board will then be put to the next ANZCCART Annual General Meeting of members for ratification of the award.

AEC Member of the Year Award

This award was created by ANZCCART to recognise the excellent service offered to Animal Ethics Committees by their members and in 2017 the award was extended to recognise two exceptional members each year, one in Australia and one in New Zealand. Each award recipient will be decided by the ANZCCART Board of each country and accordingly, nominations should now be sent to the appropriate office so they can be judged in accordance with the guidelines. All award winners will receive a certificate of recognition. In addition, ANZCCART will cover the costs associated with the winner’s attendance at the current year’s ANZCCART Conference which may be held in New Zealand. The prize includes economy airfares, conference registration (including all social functions that are part of the conference programme) and accommodation at the conference venue for the recipient only.
