Ngarrindjeri Nation

Ngarrindjeri Nation is the culmination of Dr Doreen Kartinyeri's research into and knowledge of the family trees of the Ngarrindjeri Aboriginal people.

Dr Kartinyeri began work as a genealogist with Professor Fay Gale at the University of Adelaide in 1979. She went on to found the Aboriginal Family History Unit of the South Australian Museum and to become Australia's foremost indigenous genealogist.

Ngarrindjeri Nation - Genealogies of Ngarrindjeri Families is Dr Kartinyeri's eighth genealogical work. Throughout the book, Dr Kartinyeri shares her rich collection of archival photographs and provides historical images of and information about Ngarrindjeri people.

Ngarrindjeri Nation is published by Wakefield Press and sells for a recommended retail price of $34.95.
