Venture Capital is keen on Computer Vision

According to MIT/Stanford Venture Lab (VLAB) board member Gigi Wang, Computer Vision is the focus of VC attention for the next round of investments;

Investors are looking at it … it’s on their radar and I think they will start making some serious investments in about two to three years.

Apparently mobile devices and ‘predictive analysis’ (Machine Learning) are big too.  See The Australian for the story.
