Researchers from AIML have 28 papers accepted for presentation at the virtual CVPR (Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition) conference coming up in June 2021. This further solidifies AIML's ranking of 2nd in the world for computer vision research published over the last 5 years.

The Unparalleled Presence of AIML at CVPR 2020

Last week AIML researchers attended CVPR 2020. AIML had 23 publications accepted in the conference this year, an increase of more than 50% from previous years. These numbers are comparable to those of institutions orders of magnitude larger, and an incredible result when considering the relative age of AIML.

Best Paper Finalist at CVPR 2019 Workshop

Congratulations to Associate Professor Tat-Jun Chin and Samya Bagchi. Their paper, Star Tracking using an Event Camera, was acknowledged as a Best Paper Award Finalist at the 2nd International Workshop on Event-based Vision and Smart Cameras at CVPR 2019. Read about their work here
