Alumni Network Annual Funding Scheme
Applications from current alumni networks for the Alumni Network Annual Funding Scheme are now open. Applications to receive funding for 2023 must be received by the deadline of 5.00 pm ACDT Tuesday 13 December 2022 to be considered.
Alumni networks may apply for funding from the University of Adelaide Alumni program to support their activities.
Applicants must demonstrate how their request for funding for their project(s) will achieve at least one of the following four objectives:
- Increase the number of contactable alumni, including activities which identify ‘missing’ alumni and encourage them to reconnect with the University of Adelaide community.
- Encourage alumni to support University and Faculty activities, including volunteering for teaching, learning and career readiness programs.
- Support the Network to become financially self-sustaining on an ongoing basis.
- Promotes engagement in planning and celebratory activities directly related to the University’s upcoming 150th anniversary in 2024.
Up to a total of $25,000 cumulative will be allocated to the submissions put forward by the current alumni networks. Each Alumni Network may apply for a maximum of $3,000 in funding. Alumni Networks may seek to have multiple projects funded under this $3,000 cap, however no one activity can receive more than $2,000. The University endeavours to distribute funding equitably among the applications received in any given year.
Please note, submitting a funding scheme application does not guarantee that the Network will receive any or all of the funds requested.
Alumni networks are encouraged to discuss their project(s) with the relevant Alumni Relations team member, including the level of support that may be required from the Alumni Relations team to successfully deliver their activity.
Please refer to the guidelines for further information about criteria and eligibility.
