Sciences Alumni Network Evenings (SANE)
SANE is a series of three events throughout the year that focuses on bringing together alumni to showcase the diverse career paths of our prominent sciences alumni.
The Sciences Alumni Network warmly invites you to join us for an exciting afternoon at the Cleland Wildlife Park.
It will be a fantastic opportunity to network with fellow alumni, featuring a talk from Professor Chris Daniels, afternoon tea, and an Australian Wildlife Discovery Presentation. Friends and family are most welcome.

Professor Chris Daniels
Director, Cleland Wildlife Park
Chris studied zoology at the University of Adelaide and is involved in many environmental leadership activities focused on conserving wildlife and connecting people with nature. He has an obsessional interest in all animals, especially lizards.
In Oct 2016 Chris was appointed a councillor of Nature Foundation SA. Chris is also Vice Chair of the SA Parks and Wilderness Board and is chair of the International Koala Centre of Excellence Foundation based at Cleland.
He has published nine books, a DVD and more than 250 scientific publications including the Books Adelaide Nature of a City (2005) and Adelaide Water of a City (2010). Chris has won a number of award for these books including the Whitley Award, awards from the Planning Institute of Australia, Stormwater Industry and Australian Institute of Landscape Architects. Other award winning books include The Possum-tail Tree, The Fearsome Flute players, and Guide to Urban Wildlife.
