Leah Marrone is a practising lawyer in SA. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts and a Diploma of Languages (2004) and a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) (2007) from the University of Adelaide. Leah has remained closely associated with the university from her graduating year with over a decade on the John Bray Law Alumni Committee, including taking on the role of Secretary, she was awarded as an Alumni Fellow for her contribution and now sits on the Alumni Council.

Leah is the SA Director and Vice President of Australian Women Lawyers Ltd. and is a past President of the Women Lawyer's Association of SA Inc. Leah is on the Equal Opportunity Committee of the Law Council of Australia and former member of the Premier’s Council for Women. Leah is the former Deputy Chair of Welcome to Australia Ltd. and has a long history volunteering across numerous other community organisations. She has been a recipient of the Law Society of SA’s Gender Equity in Law Award and was last year named on the South Australian Women’s Honour Roll for her work and advocacy for women’s rights and other social justice causes.
