It’s been a devastating year for many South Australian wineries. When the bushfires spread through our state, many vineyards were destroyed or damaged. And with the COVID-19 pandemic came forced closures. Easing restrictions has allowed some wineries to re-open for partial trading, however many are still struggling with trading restrictions and the downturn in tourism.

Hugh Guthrie developed an interest in winemaking in the Adelaide Hills while growing up on his family’s farm in the region. Hugh went on to complete a Masters of Oenology at the University of Adelaide before gathering experience in wineries across SA, including a stint in the United States.
