End-Stage Kidney Disease and Oral Health             

Gradual loss of kidney function and/or presence of kidney damage persisting for three or more months, irrespective of the cause, is usually referred to as chronic kidney disease (CKD), which has been regarded as a major public health problem worldwide. End-stage kidney disease (ESKD) is the last stage of CKD where the GFR falls below 15ml/min/1.73square meters and renal replacement therapy (RRT) is required.
