Public Dental Services Queensland
Community, School and Mobile dental clinics provide dental services to eligible adult and child/adolescent residents of Queensland. All treatments for eligible individuals are provided free of charge.
Tooth Brushing in Primary Schools
The Bayside District Tooth Brushing Program was designed to increase tooth brushing episodes, and the application of low levels of fluoride into mouths of children, in order to decrease the incidence of dental caries. It also promoted tooth brushing as a daily habit for life.
Water Fluoridation Program
The Queensland Government announced its Water Fluoridation Program in 2008 and Fluoride was phased into the water supplies tarting December 2008.
Happy Teeth Program
Queensland Child Care facilities are eligible to receive 1 free copy of the Happy Teeth Resource Kit. If you are a Queensland Child Care facility and your facility has not already received a Kit, please order your Kit here.
