Issues in Oral Health for Low Income and Disadvantaged Groups in NSW is an advocacy kit for community and welfare non-government organisations
These Translated Oral Health Guides are published by Dental health Services Victoria for non-English speakers.
The NSW government's Refugee Health Service has some resources on working with refugees in general and also two fact sheets specific to oral health:
- Dental Health for Refugees: For Community Workers
- The Dental Health of Refugees: For Dental Professionals
This service also produces a DVD called 'Healthy Mouth Something to Smile About' which was developed for asylum seekers to develop oral health knowledge and reduce dental problems in this community.
