Demystifying Research Metrics
This introductory workshop is targeted at staff and students who are publishing or who plan to publish in the future, and is particularly aimed at research students and Early Career Researchers.
This workshop examines the nature of bibliometrics and almetrics measurements, and why they are important for researchers.
The session will include:
- Understand what bibliometrics and altmetrics mean
- Review research profiles in Scopus
- Explore metrics
- Author h-index
- Article metrics including altmetrics
- Journal Ranking metrics
