Kishan Dholakia finalist for SA Scientist of the Year 2025

Centre Director Kishan Dholakia is one of three finalists of prestigious the SA Scientist of the Year award 2025, together with Heike Ebendorff-Heidepriem and Matthew Gilliham.

The certificate was presented to him by Chief Scientist for South Australia Prof Craig Simmons and Deputy Premier of South Australia Hon Susan Close MP at the SA Science Excellence and Innovation Awards 2025.

The awards are a celebration of the outstanding researchers from South Australia, and recognises Kishan's trailblazing contributions to the world of photonics and interdisciplinary science; particularly his groundbreaking work on structured light and precision measurement, impacting fields from biology to quantum science.

Winners will be announced at an Awards Ceremony on Friday, 14 November 2025 in Adelaide.
