Call for Abstracts

 

Abstract submission close on 30 April 2024.

 

Delegates of 2024 HiTeMP-4 are invited to submit an abstract in one of the following 8 themes:

  1. Pathways to net-zero iron and steel
  2. Pathways to net-zero alumina
  3. Pathways to net-zero cement and lime
  4. Pathways to net-zero critical minerals
  5. Carbon capture and re-use from heavy industry
  6. Beneficiation & recovery: upgrading, coproducts and circularity
  7. Alternate emerging heavy industry processes and technologies
  8. Finance, Policy, Regulation, and Environment, Social, and Governance (ESG) for heavy industry

 

Presentation format

All papers accepted to the HiTeMP forum will be invited to present in poster format. A dedicated poster session will be allocated for poster presentations and discussions. This interactive format encourage presenters to engage with the attendees and address questions in a one-on-one. Additionally, it creates an informal atmosphere for networking and establishing connections with peers, colleagues, and potential collaborators who share similar interests. Attendees will have the opportunity for further discussions during morning tea, lunch, and afternoon tea sessions.

Best poster prizes will be announced at the end of the program on October 23rd.

Authors will be given the option to publish accepted papers in a Peer Review Conference Proceedings.

 

Abstract submission guidelines

  • Select one theme that best relates to your abstract
  • Prepare your abstract using the provided template and upload as a Word document
  • Overall word count, excluding the scientific title, authors and affiliations must not exceed 400 words.
  • Send your abstract to cet@adelaide.edu.au
  • Upon successful submission of your abstract, the author will receive email confirmation
