Team Partners & Events
The Community Volunteering Team is proud to support a number of not-for-profit and charitable organisations.
Some of the organisations we have supported are listed below.
OzHarvest is a not-for-profit organisation which rescues excess food from the food industry to feed communities at risk. Not only does OzHarvest help charitable organisations who feed people in need, but it also helps our environment by diverting good food from landfill.
The Smith Family
The Smith Family is a children's charity helping disadvantaged Australian children to get the most out of their education, so they can create better futures for themselves.
Foodbank is the largest hunger relief organisation in Australia with a presence in all states and territories. The organisation collects surplus, salvaged and donated food and grocery products from food producers, manufacturers, distributors and retailers and distributes it to charities and community groups who support people in need.
Hutt St Centre
Hutt St Centre is a frontline agency for homeless and vulnerable people. The Centre is accessed by people who sleep in our adjacent parklands, squat in nearby buildings, and reside in cheap hotels, boarding houses, community housing and public housing.
