Staff Training

Good mental health and wellbeing are key to a supportive and thriving university community. We all have a role to play in building this together.

As staff, we are often well placed to notice, engage and support students with challenges to wellbeing. But with pressures on time, knowing what to do can be daunting. There are a range of flexible training options available at the University to help build confidence around supporting distressed students, improving mental health literacy or becoming a Mental Health First Aider.

Explore the training options below to find out what meets your needs.

  • "I want to improve my general mental health awareness"

    • Inquire by asking if they are ok
    • Provide support to those you are concerned about

It also contains some great self care information and support services here at the University.
