Emergency Support

If you feel suicidal and are at risk of self harm or harm to others please contact one of the following support services.

Mental Health Triage 131 465 A 24 hour emergency phone service offering immediate confidential clinical support for people having a mental health emergency. They may provide assessment over the phone or in your home and they can arrange follow up support.
Lifeline 131 114 A 24 hour phone counselling support line. They provide a confidential service and you can remain anonymous. They also offer an online crisis chat option, for those who prefer this option.
Suicide Call Back service 1300 659 467  This service will call you and arrange a time to check in around your safety. They can then provide short term support and they will work with you till you are feeling safe again.
Police / Ambulance 000 For immediate assistance with any medical or mental health emergency or in any situation where you are not feeling safe. 
University Security 8313 5444 For any emergency on campus.
Emergency Departments at any of the major hospitals Local Hospital Emergency Departments You can go to your nearest emergency department at the Royal Adelaide Hospital (RAH) , Flinders Medical Centre, Lyell McEwin, Noarlunga Hospital  and The Queen Elizabeth Hospital.  An Emergency Department will assess your mental health and wellbeing and recommend treatment.
