SCIENCE 2550 - International Experience II

North Terrace Campus - Semester 2 - 2023

Students are encouraged to include an overseas experience in their Sciences program of study where possible. This course allows students to gain credit for an overseas study opportunity that is of interest to them, and which compliments their program of study and future goals. These study opportunities may be offered by, but are not limited to, the University?s Preferred Third Party Providers (examples include AIM Overseas, CIS Australia, ACICS and Project Everest). Such Third Party Provider Programs provide students with an opportunity to gain hands on practical experience while immersing themselves in a new culture and allow students to build relationships with overseas organisations and potential future employers while strengthening their skill set in their area of interest. Participation in such Programs must be approved by the Faculty of Sciences, Engineering & Technology prior to commencement of any activity associated with the Program. Upon successful completion of the Program, credit will be granted as either SCIENCE 2550 or SCIENCE 3550 dependent on the program selected.
