Modern Physics Inspired Approaches to Tracking
Core capabilities
This project uses mathematical techniques from advanced modern physics to:
- Accurately describe the probability density function of a target position and velocity with a small finite number of basic functions
- Transmit non-Gaussian probability density functions over small bandwidth data links for fusion and tracking
- Evolve state probability density functions using wave function techniques
Key collaborations
Funded by DST Group support an established international co-development program
- Funds 0.05 Professor, 0.1 Senior Researcher, 0.5 Researcher for 3 years
- Good results with start-up funding, but hoping to expand
