Our Bachelor of Marketing is highly future-oriented. You will:

- Higher Education applicants
You must have completed at least six months full time equivalent higher education study (the number of courses and units will vary depending on your prior institution however at the University of Adelaide, this equates to 4 courses / 12 units). A Grade Point Average (GPA) is calculated for each separate program you have undertaken (apart from some double degree programs where the GPA is combined). You compete on the basis of your best GPA.
- VET applicants
You must have completed an AQF Certificate IV or above from a Registered Training Organisation. Your application will be ranked according to the level of the award.
- Special Entry applicants
You must be 18 years or over before 1 February 2019. If you have studied at higher education level in the last two years (for 2019 entry this means you were enrolled in either 2018 or 2017), you must not have accumulated more than a TOTAL of 2 years full-time (or part-time equivalent) higher education study (ie. including any study prior to 2017). If you meet this criteria, you will be ranked according to your result in the Special Tertiary Admissions Test (STAT). Your STAT result is not weighted between verbal and quantitative components. Indigenous applicants may be eligible for entry through the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Access Scheme. See Wirltu Yarlu for further information.

The Bachelor of Marketing program has been designed to help students excel in key marketing functions. We have courses that focus on developing the strategic skills necessary to provide a meaningful contribution to the organisation's growth. There are courses that provide an in-depth understanding into the mind of the consumer, and creating an innovative market offering. Building the awareness of the offering is covered in courses surrounding branding and communication. Areas of SpecialisationAs part of your degree, you may choose to undertake at least one Minor to the value of 12 units; this encourages deeper learning in related topics and can be used to add diversity of skills to the overall program.

This minor helps you explore the various aspects of economic decision-making, and provides you with the basics needed to get the most out of economic news and reports.
In this entrepreneurship minor you will develop the ability to think more creatively and use entrepreneurial thinking to identify, create, develop and scale innovative opportunities that are sustainable across the fast pace of change that is now the norm.
The minor in International Business develops foundation knowledge and skills that help organisations create value across borders.
Management consultants explore ways in which people, strategy, structure, and operations can be developed to improve business performance. Building on the core course ‘Client Relationships and the Role of Technology’, the Management Consulting minor will give you the foundation to prepare you for a future career in management consulting.
