Gain specialised legal insight

How do the rules of commercial and contract law apply to military and policing operations in Australia and overseas? This is a field fraught with extraordinary practical realities and challenges.

Our Graduate Certificate in Operational Commercial Law builds specialised knowledge and skills for navigating these complex legal environments.

What will you do?

This 6-month degree incorporates online, face-to-face and intensive seminar classes. You will:

  • analyse 'best-practice' principles for military operations
  • learn how laws intersect with relevant government policies
  • explore ethical and intercultural considerations
  • undertake a research dissertation on an area of operational commercial law
  • pursue electives aligned with your interests and career goals.

Where could it take you?

You might be a military lawyer. You could advise on government policy. Perhaps you’ll pursue a career working with the Australian Federal Police.
