Deliver positive social change

Today’s marketplace for the social venture is overcrowded. There are so many worthwhile initiatives seeking sponsorship, grants and the community dollar. In this competitive environment, entrepreneurship and innovation are emerging as key to gaining not-for-profit funding.

Our Graduate Certificate in Social Entrepreneurship and Innovation is designed for:

  • budding social entrepreneurs actively planning to set up ventures
  • those working in not-for-profit organisations who want to improve social outcomes
  • those working in government or local authorities responsible for enhancing and supporting the social sector
  • social workers, environmental activists, non-profit sector managers, regional economic development officers, arts administrators, indigenous administrators, philanthropists, and/or natural resource managers.

What will you do?

This 6-month program is delivered in intensive blocks. Assessments can feed directly into workplace projects. You will:

  • understand the role of mindsets, innovation and technology in the entrepreneurial process
  • build tools for supporting the health and wealth of social ventures
  • learn strategies for managing and mitigating uncertainty and risk
  • analyse case studies
  • pursue electives in line with your strengths and interests.
