Consequently, demand for technically skilled and management-savvy cyber security experts is rising, presenting countless career opportunities. Our online Graduate Diploma in Cyber Security prepares you to accelerate on this rewarding path.

What will you do?

Studying entirely online, you’ll have the flexibility to undertake tasks where and when it suits your personal circumstances. The degree is completed over 14 months part-time and delivered in focused blocks, helping you maintain momentum through regular achievement of milestones.

With a curriculum informed by the University’s ongoing partnerships with the Defence, Science and Technology group, Australian Cyber Collaboration Centre and AustCyber—and mentoring provided by our own world-class cyber security researchers—the degree will give you:

  • a broad, interdisciplinary understanding of complex cyber security needs and considerations across multiple industries
  • high-level real-world technical skills
  • a sound grasp of cyber security policy and governance considerations—social, legal and commercial
  • the ability to analyse and evaluate relevant data and technology
  • the interpersonal skills to effectively communicate issues and strategies to a range of stakeholders.

Where could it take you?

You’ll emerge equipped to play a senior role in cutting-edge cyber security programs for governments, law enforcement agencies, companies and NGOs alike, all over the world. You could also choose to complete our online Master of Cyber Security with just another 8 months’ study.
