Step into a new arena
Bioinformatics is a still new science. It exists at the nexus of biological research, statistics and software engineering.
Thanks to fast-evolving technology and advances in genomics and proteomics, bioinformatics is developing at lightning speed.
What will you do?
Our Graduate Certificate in Bioinformatics covers the foundations of the field. You will:
- practise a range of approaches to managing, analysing and interpreting biological data
- explore DNA sequencing systems
- build research and project management skills.
Where could it take you?
This program might meet your professional development needs by itself. It could also act as a first step towards the graduate diploma or masters, opening doors to a wide range of cutting-edge career opportunities.
For our students who are studying offshore in 2021 and 2022, the University will continue to offer high-quality access to the learning resources remotely for most programs.
