Navigate shifting landscapes

With major advances in technology and policy, healthcare is becoming increasingly complex and regulated. The medico-legal environment is evolving to reflect these changes, and keeping up can be challenging.

This intensive award program is available to both legal and health professionals wanting a deeper understanding of policy, health law and bioethics from national, international and intercultural perspectives.

What will you do?

Our Professional Certificate in Health Law is delivered through intensive seminars, making it ideal for working professionals. You will:

  • learn about the legal framework supporting healthcare
  • consider legal issues around increasing involvement of technology in healthcare
  • analyse decision-making processes and ethical arguments in healthcare settings
  • build knowledge of regulatory strategies and enforcement approaches.

Where could it take you?

You might serve on a medical board, tribunal or council. You could consult with biotech start-ups on legal constraints. Perhaps you’ll influence policy around euthanasia or reproductive technology.
