Help science change the world
Increasingly, the world is relying on scientists to tackle its biggest challenges. Our Graduate Certificate in Science—from a leading Australian university ranked among the world’s top 100 in Earth Sciences*, Agricultural Sciences*, Life Sciences^ and Development Studies^—will prepare you to play a higher-level scientific role in one of four specialist areas (see below).
What will you do?
Completed over six months full-time, the degree includes an engaging, student-centred blend of face-to-face and online coursework. You’ll complete core studies to boost either your research or science communication skills, and elective courses in either:
- Earth Science
- Grape and Wine Science
- Plant Breeding Innovation
- or International Agricultural Development.
You’ll also have the option to gain valuable real-world experience through an internship or undertake an overseas study tour at an esteemed international university†.
Where could it take you?
You’ll graduate well equipped to move forward in your chosen specialist field anywhere in the world. You may even choose to go on to further study in that specialisation, with advanced standing provided in the Graduate Diploma in Science or Master of Science.
