  • Awards & Achievements

    • 2014 Rossing Prize in Acoustics Education awarded by the Acoustical Society of
      America. One award is given annually for outstanding contributions to acoustics
      education.
    • 2013 A.G.M. Michell medal awarded by Engineers Australia for outstanding service
      to the discipline of Mechanical Engineering. This is the highest award given by the
      Mechanical College of Engineers Australia and is awarded annually.
    • Awarded the 2012 Honorary Fellowship of The International Institute of Acoustics and
      Vibration. One Honorary Fellowship is awarded each year.
    • 2009 Rayleigh Medal awarded by the British Institute of Acoustics for outstanding
      contributions to acoustics. This is the highest award given by the British Institute of
      Acoustics and only one medal is awarded every two years to a non-British citizen.
