  • Biography/ Background

    Colleen Ortega is the Manager, Learning Enhancement in Learning Enhancement and Innovation within the Division of Academic and Student Engagment at the University of Adelaide.

    As part of the Learning Enhancement and Innovation, her portfolio includes Learning Design, Learning Systems and Innovation, MyUni Support, and Student Partnerships to support the delivery of quality learning experiences across a range of blended and online educational pedagogies and e-learning tools and also provide central assistance in the management, development and support of MyUni, and associated learning technologies. Colleen previously worked as Manager Learning Design and an eLearning Adviser assigned to the Faculty of the Professions. Colleen has a background as a Secondary School Teacher and eLearning Designer/Developer for the government and private sectors. She has also taught Research Methodology and eLearning within the VET sector.

    "We want to inspire learning by working in partnership with the university community through the design of programs, courses, and learning activities. We use creative thinking and evidence based educational approaches to shape and enable qualtiy learning and teaching experiences."
