  • Biography/ Background

    Associate Professor Ellen Davies is the Research Program Lead for Adelaide Health Simulation (AHS), Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences, The University of Adelaide.

    Adelaide Health Simulation (AHS) is a world-class facility for experiential learning and clinical assessment. It is the only health simulation centre accredited with the Society for Simulation in Healthcare, and has an established and growing reputation for excellence, innovation and partnership development.

    In 2022, a formal Simulation Research Program was established within AHS. The purpose of this program is to partner with learners, teaching academics, clinicians, and researchers to explore the opportunities health simulation has for improving learner and patient outcomes, and, to ensure that there is an evidence base informing simulation activities hosted by AHS.
