Ilker is a Senior Lecturer in Business Analytics specialising in AI Agents & Human-AI collaboration and the General Chair of Emerging Technologies Conference - ETC 2027. Prior to academia, he was an AIM-recognized education consultant who helped many students fulfil their academic and career aspirations. With 21 years in higher education, including 11 years as a tertiary educator, he has created and coordinated numerous undergraduate and graduate courses, co-designed an undergraduate program, received 6 prestigious Teaching & Innovation Awards from top-tier universities, and published research articles as first author in IJILT, EIS, ITP, IJER, SHE, EIT, GM, TJBA, JHTT and JMHE. As a Harvard Data Science certified programmer, he uses R and Python for data analysis, Tableau for vis, and IBM WatsonX and Voiceflow for chatbot development. He specialises in using AI agents in randomised controlled trials.
