  • Biography/ Background

    John is a Senior Fellow Higher Education Academy with many years of experience in learning design and technologies, management and teaching, including seven years at the University of Adelaide.

    He is currently a Learning Designer in LEI, DASE, while also teaching in the School of Business (Faculty of Professions). Over the years, he has taught Digital Media, Sociology of Education, Maths and Academic English (EAL) at undergraduate level, while also working in the educational design and technologies space.

    He has worked as a consultant in online and blended learning to Universities in Japan and the International Network of Universities.

    John is a member of the Adelaide Branch Committee of the National Tertiary Education Union and has a strong interest in diversity and inclusion and the well-being and success of our students, staff and the institution as a whole.

    He speaks a number of European languages (French, German, Irish) and has has close connections to a family business in London in the Engineering and Construction sector.
