  • Biography/ Background

    I have been teaching for about 15 years across the world (Australia, Spain, the UK), and have a BA (English and Psychology), a Post Grad Dip Ed, a Masters Degree in Education, and am a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. At the University of Adelaide I manage and lead a team of Learning Designers (in the LEI unit) tasked with supporting and strengthening the capacity of academics and other professionals to deliver effective learning sequences. Critical to this is my central goal for learning design to be driven by evidence based pedagogical research. I have a particular interest in cognitive science and the far reaching influence it can have in education design. 

    I am an active contributor to educational forums, and write quite a bit about education on my blog: www.paulgmoss.com, I also have an active twitter account: @edmerger.com.
