Adelaide Health and Medical Sciences
Renee Ormsby is a Medical Research Assistant within the Biomedical Orthopaedic Research Group in the Centre for Orthopaedic and Trauma Research. She has worked in this role for a number of years and has produced numerous publications during this time. She is currently laboratory manager and supervises students within the lab, as well as embarking on her PhD which was submitted October of this year (2018). She has a passion for bone research, particularly on the role of the osteocyte within bone pathologies including osteoarthritis as well as bone loss during aging. Her research is ongoing and she hopes to become a successful post doc in the future.
