Dr Yassine Souilmi is an internationally recognised science communicator and expert commentator on evolutionary genomics, ancient DNA, and bioinformatics. His research has attracted extensive coverage from some of the world's leading media organisations, including CNN, the New York Times, Smithsonian Magazine, and New Scientist, and he has been directly interviewed or quoted as an expert source across print, digital, and broadcast media. He is a regular contributor to The Conversation, where he translates complex genomic science for a broad public audience, and has provided expert commentary to Australian outlets including ABC Science and SBS Science. He is available for media commentary on topics including ancient DNA and palaeogenomics, evolutionary medicine, historical viral epidemics, human adaptation and population genomics, and genomic bioinformatics.
